At InvManage, we take the privacy and security of your operational data seriously. This policy outlines how we collect, process, store, and protect your information across our hardware, software, and dashboard products.

1. Data Collection

We collect telemetry data from hardware deployed at your facility, including but not limited to SKU counts, pallet velocity, shelf occupancy, and optical video feeds (processed locally at the edge). We also collect account information such as company name, billing contact, and user login activity when you or your team use the InvManage dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Data

Operational telemetry is used to generate real-time alerts, predictive analytics, and historical reporting for your facility. Account information is used to manage billing, provide customer support, and communicate service updates. We do not use your operational data to train models on behalf of any other customer.

3. Azure & AWS Data Storage

All transmitted data is encrypted in transit and at rest within SOC2 compliant Microsoft Azure databases, with select telemetry mirrored to AWS S3 for multi-cloud redundancy. We do not sell your operational metrics to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We may share limited data with vetted subprocessors (cloud hosting, payment processing, customer support tooling) strictly to deliver the InvManage service, and only under confidentiality obligations at least as protective as this policy. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of InvManage, our customers, or the public.

5. Data Retention

Telemetry and scan history are retained for the duration of your active contract plus 12 months, unless a longer retention period is required for compliance audits or requested in writing. Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your operational and account data at any time, subject to any legal or contractual retention obligations. Enterprise customers may also request a full export of their historical telemetry prior to deletion.

7. Cookies & Website Analytics

Our marketing website uses essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns and improve our content. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our products, infrastructure, or legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email at least 30 days before taking effect.
